Hello Meltdowners!
We have just completed our 7th week and next Monday, Mar 23 at 7:00 pm will be the start of our Big Looser Award Night.
We are so excited about what we have accomplished together as a community. I just Love Crosby, Tx. We are people of commitment and we have truly shown our strength during our meltdown.
Our Theme night will be "Seeing the Change". And boy have I seen less of you each week. You are looking FLAB-U-LESS!
Please invite your neighbors, friends and relatives to come and share in our excitement. Pastor Keenan of Crosby Church will do our final speech. And I heard that he has some awesome words to say about you our Meltdowners.
We will provide cofee, and water for refreshments and lots of fun, laughter and recognition.
I wanted to remind all of you to bring your groceries to the meltdown to represent your team pounds of weight loss. All the food will be donated to the C.U.I.C.
If you have not turned in your weight as of March 19, 2009 we will calculate weight from the begining of week 7. Have a blessed week and I look forward to seeing each of you on Monday.

This is Emmy is for YOU!
This Emmy is for you Meltdowners. You are producing Great Health, Habit of Exercise, Proper Nutrition, Getting more Energy and may I say looking pretty FLAB-U-Less.
Oh my, my, my Was'nt Robin Craig, Emmy Award Winning Producer from Houston, Tx absolutely wonderful.
What a speech she gave us. Ok how many of you guys have practiced busting the sugar. Sugar is in so many different foods. So start reading those labels. You will be surprised how much weight loss, energy and health you can accomplish by just doing without sugar. I had a member tell me that just by giving up Dr. Pepper she lost 20 lbs. Come on guys you know you can do it.
Be sure and exercise at least 30 minutes daily, turn in your weight to your captain and captains turn you your team results as soon as you can. We are getting close to the end of our meltdown and all numbers need to be turned in by the end of the 7th week which will be March 20, 2009.
We have an awesome speaker lined up just for you next week her name is Polly Hale with A Gift of Health. Don't miss it.
Love you guys

Crosby Community Meltdown Mania!
From the Desk of Shelia Hall
Whew! We made it through week four of our Community Meltdown and what a
journey it has been. We have had three wonderful speakers and hopefully the knowledge you
have gained from each of them will encourage you to reach for your goal and not give up.
Linda Howard, LVN spoke to us on the effects of diet on our bodies. She helped bring
home the fact that what we put in our bodies combined with the exercise routine we practice
can either lengthen or shorten our healthy living experience.
I am so excited to have Robin Craig, an Emmy Award Winning producer to come speak
to us this coming Monday. She will be talking to us about his own battle with weight and how
she personally overcame the battle. You will want to make sure you and your teammates are
present for this meeting, it promises to be an exciting as well as motivating subject.
If you haven’t visited our blog, you might want to do so when you get the chance. The
address is www.crosbymeltdown.blogspot.com. There are pictures posted from the last few
meetings and if you look closely you should be able to find you and your teammates in the
pictures. If not, don’t worry, I’m sure you will show up before the eight weeks are over. Make
sure you wear your smiling faces as well as your team t-shirts so you can proudly represent
your team on the blog.
Also, don’t forget to encourage all of your team to wear their t-shirts to the next
meeting. We want to take pictures of teams and this would be a wonderful time to display your
teams selected color as well as team name. For those of you who ordered a shirt but have not
yet picked it up, please make arrangements to pick up at the next meeting.
I pray each of you walk in His grace and peace until we meet again.
